My first EDC was just as wonderful as I imagined it would be. The magic, the lights and the love was as overwhelming as could be. It was an inspiring festival that left me feeling happy, relaxed, and somehow spiritually rejuvenated.

As I began to build my outfits I ran into a few snags which lead to some changes in the OG plans. For instance I changed my day one dino outfit to just a plain black bodysuit I made. What had happened was, I didn’t account for the fabric that the dino hat needed to go over the thickness of my hair, so when I cut it out it was several inches too small; left with a too small hat and now only enough fabric to have the bodysuit I decided to rather save that fabric for a future project… I did keep the same design for the black bodysuit though because I really loved it, and I am so happy with my overall look for my first EDC day 1.

My day 2 outfit also went awry. After experiencing one day of the festival I decided against wearing the wings I had prepared. I knew they wouldn’t last one minute on the inside, and I would not have been comfy walking around and in between groups of people – probably taking out casualties with every step! With the ombre undies I made I wore a black bralette and simple gold body chain.

The outfit I wore on day 3 was my favorite! The look came out exactly how I envisioned it. I talked about the concept for this outfit a few posts back; I used alien pasties to cover my lady parts which stayed on perfectly all night.

This outfit looked beautiful on, but sadly and completely unexpectedly it left me with scars!! The tip of the bra cup rubbing against me all night left me chaffed and scabbed by the time I got back to our hotel. My chest now has acute symmetrical dime sized marks 3 inches underneath either of my collar bones.

I made Jessica an alien skirt to match me.
